Complementary Services Department (CSD) CONFERENCE

The ENGAGE ALL CSD CONFERENCE  offers close to 30 interactive workshops divided into 3 time slots beginning at 8:30AM with the first series of presentations. This conference is open to teachers, special education technicians, attendants, in-school professionals and administrators.

Each workshop will run 75 minutes – a 60minute presentation followed by a 15 minute question period. We will offer participants interactive sessions promoting evidence-based approaches, strategies and techniques supporting our students presenting with special needs, all the while keeping their interests front and center. 

To register, you need to create a new account by clicking on SIGN UP.

  1. Click on SIGN UP and fill in the appropriate information.
  2. Once you’re signed in, click on schedule and then choose simple in the drop down box.
  3. Scroll down and choose 1 presentation for each time slot.
  4. You’re done! You are now signed up.  An email will be sent directly to your mailbox. Please check your spam or junk mail.

 

Each session has a maximum of 25 spots.

They can speak to me about History, Geography, Native Studies. I have been working in the cultural field for more than 20 years as a historical consultant on Kanienkehaka (Mohawk - People of the Flint) and have 16 years experience as a teacher. History and Native Studies are my specialization from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. I am a former member of the History and Geography Task Force at MELS and the committee that wrote the current History and Citizenship program in Secondary III and IV.
